In this section the most important events from the past few years, as well as recent news are arranged in
chronological order.
- Press Release: May 2006. Distribution agreement with Kibron Inc. (Finland)
was reached during Dr. Ivanov's visit to Helsinki. First Kibron Langmuir-Blodgett films equipment was
delivered to Faculty of Biology, Sofia University in August, 2006. It has a complete range of accessories
and options including Surface Potential Meter, vertical dipper for LB film deposition, trough for compressing
rigid films.
- Press Release: May 2007. Distribution agreement with Anfatec Instruments (Germany) was reached.
First Anfatec Level Atomic Force Microscope was shipped to Bulgaria in November 2007. The most powerful AFM in Bulgaria
was installed in the Faculty of Physics, Sofia University between 10 - 12 December 2007 free of charge from the Anfatec
co-owner Dr. Anne Muller. More...

- NEW Product, due in June 2008:
Fuel Cell Monitor 5000 0,001 Hz - 5 MHz all-in-one instrument to measure
and monitor Fuel Cell during high-temperature operation. Harmonics measurement. Requires external DC load.

- February, 2008. NEW Product, now shipping:
Organic LED Monitor 1000 Light intensity and electrical characteristics test and monitor unit. First applications are for Organic Light Emitting Diodes research.
- 4 April 2008 Press release: zero corruption tolerance company.
After lengthy discussions with Veeco Metrology Group (USA) Eastern Europe agent Mr. Ivan Sarlai we decided to adopt
the zero corruption tolerance principles. For every lev (1euro = 2 leva approx.) we pay we need either
an invoice or officially signed contract. All tender procedures will be completely
transparent - we publish our tender proposal on our web site the day the tender
documents are opened. We are also ecologically sound company. We save on paper and ink chemicals
as all documents are in electronic form, unless paper copies are required. We do not use
faxing and prefer electronic signatures.
- 6 April 2008 tender participation decision.
We decided to participate in the tender procedure for purchase of high-end Atomic Force Microscope
from the Institutes of Electronics and Solid State Physics of the Bulgaria Academy of Sciences. We believe
the #1 expert in AFMs in Bulgaria Dr. George Ivanov (10 AFM papers since 1996), with his excellent knowledge
of the samples for research from the Institutes, and total understanding of how the technology works can offer
a very competitive offer. An action plan was drafted with actions in team strengthening,
negotiation of new partnerships, PR actions, etc.

Anfatec Instruments (Germany) grants
permission to Advanced Technologies Ltd. to distribute non-exclusively their instruments and Atomic Force Microscopes
in all the Balkan peninsula countries except Turkey. These Balkan countries are: Greece, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia. You can meet our representatives at the Balkan Scientific Union
Conferences, the first being on Electrochemistry next week in Croatia.
- 13 May 2008 Collaboration agreement. Today
GIS Transfer Center Foundation
and Advanced Technologies Ltd. has reached a collaboration agreement. Advanced Technologies's CEO and owner Dr.
George Ivanov and GIS-TC's Chairman of the Managing Board Senior Research Fellow Dr. Kostadin
Kostadinov had worked together from 1988 till 1991 on the first generation of Langmuir-Blodgett ultra thin
organized organic film system and share a joint paper and patent in Thin Solid Films.
